Learning how to pedal his bicycle! His feet are finally long enough to reach the pedals all the way, so earlier that week was the first time he made an actual effort to try to use them. He did a little bit again when my parents were here. Just today, we rode the bike again, and tried to pedal long enough that I got some on video! Yipee! It usually works best still to be on a slight downhill slope because he doesn't seem to want/be able to push strong enough to keep going if the ground is flat or slightly uphill.
We visited Joanna and her kids that morning also. Vineetha wasn't quite sure what to think of my parents, but we got some nice pictures anyway. Thanks for having us over, Jo!
After that visit, we spent a few minutes at the park, so my parents could see Luke in action on the playground equipment. Here he is swinging and playing in the sand like a true boy!
And, as we left the park, I let them help Luke get a drink from the drinking fountain. We took them back to the airport after Luke woke up from his nap, and we miss you already! Such fun to share life and Luke with you! Looking forward to Christmas already!
