Paper Airplanes

Nathan decided to teach Luke how to make and fly paper airplanes!  Such a fun Daddy activity - but I had to snap a few pictures before leaving them alone to play together.

Eight Weeks Old!

I totally forgot to take any pictures of anything yesterday, when Jonathan was officially 8 weeks old, but I happened to take several SUPER CUTE smiley pictures the day before, so those will have to count for his 8 week pictures.  Enjoy!  :)

Fan Club

Jonathan has a very attentive fan club in the form of his cousins!  Every single one of them is smitten with him - even 2 year old BJ.  :)

I took Luke out for ice cream after we went to the store, just for fun (and because I wanted ice cream).  :P  This is what he looks like when he doesn't want his picture taken.

Fireman Party

My friend from church decided to throw her son a Fireman Party just for fun.  He is really into firefighters and apparently includes the names of several friends from church in his imaginary play - Luke being one of them.  So, I dropped Luke off for a morning of firefighting fun - leaving me some time to be productive at home.  :)

Army Helmet

We ordered this army helmet online for Halloween to go with Luke's soldier costume.  However, it arrived a week AFTER Halloween.  :(  Oh well, he can use it to play dress-up now.

Boys in Brown

I just realized it, but both of the boys are wearing brown in these pictures.  This first one is another "include me in this photo shoot" picture of Luke.  And the next two are of Jonathan, cute as ever!  He's getting very good at holding his head up high!

Trip to the Park

Two weeks ago, the three of us got ourselves together to walk to the park.  I couldn't choose between these adorable pictures of Jonathan in the stroller, so here they all are.  :)

I was taking a few pictures of Jonathan in Luke's room the other day, and Luke thought I should take one of him, too.  This is his "I don't really want to smile for your camera, but I'm jealous of the attention baby brother is getting" face.  :P

First official big smile for the camera!  Jonathan's first awake smile was on October 27th, but this is the first one I've managed to get on camera.  It's fuzzy and too close up, but happy!

Pumpkins!

We went to Walmart as a family on this Saturday morning (day before Halloween), and Luke complained of being tired after awhile.  So, Nathan let him sit in the big part of the cart - for the first time!  Luke thought that was pretty great, and has since tried to get that privilege again by saying he's tired, but I don't let him do it when I'm by myself (he's too heavy to lift in and out if I don't have to), so he's only done it once since - another time when we went shopping with Nathan.  :)

Grasshopper

I was outside trimming dead roses off of the bushes, when Luke pointed this guy out to me!  He's HUGE!  I haven't ever seen a grasshopper this big before - WOW!  He just hung out there, let me take pictures of him and let me keep trimming roses without jumping away.  :)

One Month Old!

I had some time on my hands Sunday afternoon, October 24th, so I did a one-month photo shoot with Jonathan.  Sadly, he had pretty bad baby acne at this point, so the pictures aren't as cute as they could be.  Thankfully the acne has since almost completely cleared up.  :)
